Agápe Farms aims to address food security, improve nutrition, and promote sustainable ethnocultural agriculture. In addition, we intend to engage youth, women, and newcomers from diverse social and economic backgrounds as essential contributors in building equitable local ethnocultural food communities—addressing food security & food sovereignty from the ground up. By involving young people, women, and newcomers and having them participate in all aspects of food production and farming – from planting to harvesting and distributing, we can increase our unity and hope for positive change in our community and beyond.
We recently purchased Trout Lily organic nursery (troutlily.ca) to follow our passion for creating a healthier food system and sustainably growing nutritious local produce with a focus on ethnocultural crops. We look forward to working with you to grow a healthier tomorrow, healing our food system, the planet we share, and ourselves.
